MURDER BY DEATH CHANGE OF DATES TOUR DELAYED UNTIL MAY

NEW TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY 17th FEB FURTHER TICKETING DETAILS COMING SOON...

Due to scheduling and time constraints Jung Hearts will be moving the intial Murder By Death tour dates to May. Jung Hearts believe that these new date changes and some venue changes will contribute to a greater overall experience for punters planning on attending shows for this tour. Several new dates have also been added to the tour, allowing the band to visit more locations in Australia.

Murder By Death and Jung Hearts are excited to deliver this inaugural first ever tour to Australia in its new and improved format.

Please find new dates and venues below. Those who have already purchased tickets can retain their tickets as being valid for these new dates, with the exception of Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne where venues have changed. Those tickets purchased at venues that are no longer being used for the tour can get a refund at point of purchase and then re-purchase their tickets for the new shows.

Jung Hearts apologies for any inconvenience caused as a result of these changes. New ticketing information will be posted in the next few days, going on sale on Friday the 17th of Feb. Stay tuned.

Perth band ELEVENTH HE REACHES LONDON regretfully cannot perform on these new dates as main tour support, however all tour supports will be announced in the coming weeks with some great local talent scheduled to appear on stage with Murder By Death. We're very excited about the support band selection for these shows.

In the past two years, Murder By Death have released the critically lauded "Good Morning, Magpie" on the venerable Vagrant Records, added Scott Brackett from Okkervil River to their lineup and had a song featured in a trailer for Quentin Tarantino's 'Inglorious Basterds' and on the successful US drama television series 'Sons of Anarchy'.

Straddling the delicate border of Punk and Country without indulging in the cliches of either genre, their live reputation pegs them as both rabble-rousing and note-perfect, atmospheric as much as forceful and truly unmissable.

Murder By Death will begin their first tour to Australia this coming May.

'If you've never witnessed a show from MBD, this is one not to miss; the band paints a lush dark picture of the whiskey-soaked underbelly of American back roads. If Johnny Cash had spent some time collaborating with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, the result may have been something like this.' - about.com
